It’s officially Fall 2013 (Welcome, Autumn!), and, with the dip in temperatures, change in the color of the leaves, and lots of great holidays on the way (time to prepare my menus!), Fall is my favorite season of the year because of the abundance of seasonal fruits and veggies that I love to cook and eat!
Super Kewl Fall Vegetables include:
1. Butternut Squash — Fries or Candies (see below for more details!)? Both are KEWL!
The KewlBites Cookbook has a great recipe for Butternut Squash Fries! Super easy and the YUM factor rules supreme. Check out page 131, and pick up a copy right here at: www.kewlbites.com/cookbook

2. Apples — With a plethora of different types of apples sitting patiently, row by row, in the produce section, fuji apples are my all-time favorites! They’re sweet, delicious, and burst with juiciness as you take a bite.
The KewlBites Cookbook contains an amazing recipe for Apple Pie Oatmeal on Page 17! Chock full of fresh apples, cinnamon and vanilla, it will satisfy your sweet-tooth and provide a fuel-rich burst of fiber ahead of a busy day.
